Emini Trading

Emini trading, or E-mini trading is based on the S&P 500 Index, typically an expensive realm to trade and invest in. This type of trading is also possible on many other indices, including the Nasdaq100 and the S&P Midcap 400. With Emini day trading, however, the investments are typically 1/5 the size of a normal contract, reducing the amount of capital that is normally required, which means that investors from all financial backgrounds can take advantage of this unique investment opportunity.

Emini trading is also known as Emini futures trading, since it is really the trading of stock index futures. This means that trades are based on the projected future performance of a stock within a six month or year period of time, depending on current and past performance.
